No two snowflakes are identical and all of the children that come to Snowflake School are unique and amazing individuals who have an abundance of skills and potential waiting to be unlocked.
Welcome to our website which I hope that you will find informative and give you the opportunity to explore our work and our aspirations. I hope that you find that this website captures some of the extraordinary outcomes that children achieve on a daily basis and shows the dedication and energy of an incredible professional staff team.
Everybody involved with Snowflake School are all very proud that the school has once again been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted. We were inspected on January 12th, 13th and 14th 2016 and you will be able to read the full Ofsted report by clicking the link elsewhere on this page.
We are fortunate to have the support and understanding of the parents of our pupils and we aim to sustain this vital partnership with parents and to continue to improve all aspects of our wonderful school.
The rating of Outstanding is the result of the skill commitment and determination of many individuals bonded together as a team with one aim - improving the lives of the children and families that we are associated with.
We must remember that an inspection report is not the end of our work to improve the school but is merely a strong indication that we are moving in the right direction
We receive fantastic backing from our Trustees and supporters and I can ensure you that if you are able to make a donation, every penny given will be channeled directly to improving the experience for children enabling them to progress and to enjoy being at school.
We hope that you will choose to follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook, it is important that our very small school does not become an island and that we ensure that we are outward looking and constantly seeking to engage with those that can add to our skills, knowledge and understanding.
We aspire to be a Learning Community that invests in the development of staff knowledge and skills as well as pupils, parents and the wider public. We aim to do what we can to spread the word that the Applied Behaviour Analysis/Verbal Behaviour approach to Teaching and Learning is very effective and can bring great benefits for children with Autism, leading to real improvements in the quality of family life.
